We like to call the Exotic Shorthair the “lazy person’s Persian”—because you get all the charm of a traditional Persian, without all the grooming fuss!

If you adore that sweet, squishy face, sturdy body, and calm, affectionate personality but aren’t up for daily coat maintenance, the Exotic might just be your perfect match. These lovable fluffballs have the same structure and temperament as Persians but sport a plush, medium-length coat that’s soft, dense, and much easier to manage.

Their teddy bear-like appearance is irresistibly cuddly—and their grooming routine? Way less demanding!

 A few things to note:

• Exotics do shed, especially during warmer months. A quick brushing a few times a week (daily during shedding season) will help reduce loose fur and keep hairballs at bay.
• While their coat is easier to care for, Exotics are not hypoallergenic.

Our Kitten Contract: The Fine Print, With Feline Flair

Yes, we provide a formal kitten contract that outlines everything you need to know—including our health guarantee and all the important terms and conditions of adoption.

• To protect the integrity of our breeding program and ensure the lifelong health of our kittens, we require that all kittens be spayed or neutered by 8 months of age—no exceptions.

For our pedigree kittens, CFA registration papers (blue slips) will be held until we receive proof of spay/neuter from a licensed veterinarian.

• All paperwork—including the contract—must be completed, signed, and returned before we can accept a deposit and reserve your kitten.

It’s all part of our commitment to raising happy, healthy, well-loved kitties—because responsible breeding starts with responsible adopting. 

Health Guaranteed, With Love

Yes—we proudly provide a written health guarantee with every kitten! This important document is included in your adoption contract for your review and signature.

All of our kittens receive routine veterinary care and are up to date on vaccinations and deworming before heading to their forever homes.

• Important Reminder:
  To keep our health guarantee valid, your kitten must be seen by your veterinarian within 48 hours of coming home. This helps ensure your little one is off to a healthy, happy start and that veterinary care is established from day one.

Reserving a kitten is easy! Just send us a request, answer a few quick questions, and place your deposit to hold your spot in line for your future fluffball.

• Important Note: All deposits are non-refundable—no exceptions.
• Life happens! If you need to cancel your adoption for any reason, your deposit can be applied to another available kitten within one year. To make changes, we’ll just need a written cancellation request and a new application to update your file.
• Kittens are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, and they tend to get scooped up quickly—so don’t wait too long if you’ve fallen in love!

Feeding Your Fancy Feline

Our kittens have paws-itively refined taste! Their favorite dry food is Hill’s Science Diet Kitten Chicken Recipe, while our adult cats prefer the Hill’s Science Diet Urinary & Hairball Control Chicken Recipe. Our older kittens enjoy a mix of both as they transition into adulthood.

To keep mealtime exciting, we also offer a variety of high-quality wet food options—and don’t worry, we’ll send you home with a sample so your kitten can settle in with familiar favorites.

We believe in free-choice dry feeding, so our kittens can nibble whenever hunger strikes. Wet food and fresh filtered water are offered multiple times a day—because nothing but the best for our little divas and gents!

• Only clean, filtered water. Always.
• Fresh food served with love.

Please be sure your kitten is eating and drinking at least 3 times a day after coming home. If they go more than 24 hours without eating, reach out to us right away—we’re here to help.

After all, a cat’s love language is food and affection, and ours have perfected the art of politely meowing for both. Yes, they’re a little spoiled—and proud of it!

Welcome Home, Little One!

Your adorable new kitten is about to start their next big adventure—life with you! To make the transition as smooth and cozy as possible, please have all your kitten care essentials ready before they arrive. Think of it like preparing a mini kitty oasis: a quiet, peaceful space (away from other pets) with their food, fresh filtered water, litter box, soft bed or cat tower, and of course—toys!

For the first few days, this comfy setup will help your kitten feel safe and secure while they adjust to their new surroundings. Our cats are big fans of cat towers—they love to climb, nap, and keep an eye on their kingdom from above. We highly recommend adding one to your home! Just a heads-up: don’t be surprised if your kitten also claims your sofa… or your pillow.

Building trust is simple: stay calm, gentle, and patient. Set aside special bonding time each day to snuggle, play, and just enjoy each other’s company. Kittens love interactive toys, so get ready for lots of pouncing, chasing, and laughing. After all, the family that plays together, stays together!

All of our kittens are raised with endless love, snuggles, and sweet attention—so expect lots of affection from day one. With a little love and time, you’ll be best buddies in no time!

Litter Box Etiquette: Because Clean Paws Matter

All of our kittens are fully litter box trained before heading to their new homes—because cats are naturally tidy little creatures who do not appreciate a dirty bathroom!

To keep your kitten happy (and accident-free), be sure to scoop the litter box daily. A clean box = a content kitty.

Litter Box Tip:
I like to place extra-large puppy pads around the litter box—they catch any stray litter and make cleanup a breeze! I also use disposable pads under food and water bowls to keep dining areas neat and sanitary. It’s a simple way to keep your kitten’s space fresh and your floors sparkling.
